Use this when you’re done taking walk-ins today: you’re running late, someone went home, or it’s near closing.
Close walk-ins
- On Today’s Console, tap Close for today. On a narrow phone it’s the moon button.
- If nobody is waiting, tap Close walk-ins.
- If people are still waiting, choose what happens to them.
If people are waiting, the two choices are:
- Keep serving them: they keep their place, and you serve them as usual.
- Cancel their check-ins: their tickets say walk-ins closed for today.
New check-ins stop right away either way. Tap Go back if you change your mind before choosing.
Opening again
Walk-ins open again only when someone taps I’m here on their My Day, today or the next day. Someone simply finishing a visit and becoming available again doesn’t reopen them.
Closing for the day isn’t shutting down
This only stops today’s walk-ins. Your storefront, settings and records stay as they are.
