Setting up takes one page if Google already knows your business. Walk-Ins Welcome is free to start, and you don’t need a card.
Find your business
- Go to the Claim Your Storefront page.
- Type your business name and city in the search box. You can tap Use my location for nearby matches, or Keep typing.
- Tap Claim This Storefront next to your business (on a phone the button just says Claim).
Not on Google? Tap My business isn’t listed — create a free business setup and fill in the details yourself.
Finding your listing doesn’t publish anything yet, and it doesn’t prove you own the business. Both come later.
Check what we found
If you picked a Google listing, you get one page marked Draft · only you can see it. It has:
- About you: a few details about you as the owner.
- Services: what you offer, how many minutes each takes, and an optional price. You can start with up to three.
- When are you open?: shown only if Google had no hours. Leave the times blank to stay closed until you know them.
- Here’s what we found on Google: tap Edit next to anything that’s wrong.
Answer: do you also serve customers yourself?
Walk-ins open only when the person who serves customers taps I’m here on their My Day. So setup asks this once:
- Yes, I serve customers: you’ll open walk-ins yourself from My Day.
- No, someone else does: type their name and email, and we email them an invitation when you create the business.
You can’t continue until you answer.
Publish and create your account
- Tap Publish my storefront →.
- Create your free account: tap Continue with Google, or tap New here? Create an account with email and choose a password of at least 8 characters.
- You land on Tell Your Customers, with ready-made posts, an email and a text announcing your storefront.
Some claimed Google listings must be verified before customers can see them. If your screen says Your page isn’t live yet, see Verify you own your business.
